MDSF - Foundation
Horse's with the prefix or suffix MDSF where not bred at the MD stud, but where created from real life bloodlines. These horses will be the key lines to our future bloodstock.
Foundation show horses have MDSF at the start of there name (Prefix)
Foundation race horses have MDSF at the end of there name (suffix)

MDS - Home Bred
Horse's with the prefix MDS where bred using our own stallions and mares.
All home bred horses weither they compete in showing or racing will ALWAYS have MDS at the start of there name.

Horse Aging

At the Milton Diamond Stud we age our horses by real time unless otherwise stated on the horses page.
We age all our horses once per year on the 1st January.
